ENS Delegation Statement
ENS name: katherineykwu.eth
My view on each section of the proposed ENS Constitution
- Name ownership shall not be infringed: Agree
- Fees are primarily an incentive mechanism: Agree
- Income funds ENS and other public goods: Agree
- ENS Integrates with the global namespace: Agree
My web3 qualifications / skills & my reasons for wanting to be a delegate:
I am currently serving as the Lead Steward for the ENS Meta-Governance Working Group. The Meta-Governance Working Group is responsible for providing governance oversight and supporting the management and operation of working groups through DAO tooling and governance initiatives as well as treasury management for the DAO. I was elected to the position for Term 1 of 2023, and hope to continue to contribute to the ENS DAO for a long time.
A bit more context on me: I have worked in crypto since 2017 as the first business hire for Messari where we worked on standards for more treasury transparency (and TCRs!), and then transitioned a few years ago to being a seed-stage investor. I am now at Archetype) where I search for and back founders who are building on important infra and primitives. I also have a legal/regulatory background prior to crypto and think that getting crypto policy right in the U.S. (and beyond) is of the utmost importance.
I hope that, through my past work within the crypto industry and my current position on the MG working group, I can win your trust as a delegate and steward for ENS.
