About the program

P2E Inferno is a gamified upskilling and activation platform that helps people build practical skills in frontier technologies such as AI and Web3. The P2E Inferno supporter program helps keep the platform running; participants buy an onboarding badge and a recurring access pass, then complete a daily quest to earn rewards.

Every pass and badge is an Unlock lock. Every daily quest requires on-chain actions. The program is live and active today. The scholarship program, opens access to quests and training that many couldn't otherwise afford. A sponsor funds the access. A scholar does the daily work and gets rewarded for it, reaching quests they couldn't open on their own. The sponsor takes a passive share for opening the door; the scholar earns more than they could alone.

The value to Unlock

1 — Direct protocol revenue. Every access pass and badge is an Unlock lock purchased on-chain. Each purchase and each renewal pays the 1% protocol fee.

Founding Cohort PricingProtocol fee per supporter
Supporter, month one - badge $100 + access pass $246 + DG Nation $12$3.58
Supporter, every month after (as long as supporter remains active)$2.58
Scholarship seat, month one - sponsor badge $165 + scholar badge $110 + scholar pass $80$3.55

2 — Pool volume. Completing the daily quest is the only way a supporter earns rewards, and two of the required tasks are swaps on the UP/ETH pool on Base. The volume is a condition of completing the quest, not a market view, so it is non-speculative and repeats daily. Each supporter generates $21,536 in annual pool volume and $5.38/month in pool fees.

3 — Daily supply reduction. Vendor progression requires the Light Up action, which burns 10 UP per participant per day at a basic level (Pleb). It is mandatory — the quest cannot be completed without it.

4 — Recurring buy pressure on $UP. Over 90% of the funds from the monthly access passes are used to purchase $UP token and transferred to the DG Token Vendor to maintain the rewards reserve. For the 10 seat founding cohort this introduces a monthly recurring buy pressure of over $2000.

Current state

The supporter program is live and active. The founding cohort is 10 seats. One is sold. On-chain proof of the three locks purchased:

Live pool activity: UP/ETH pool on Base — set the timeframe to 1W for a clear view.

The ask

$2,000 in UP (rewards reserve)

$500 in ETH (Cover development cost for the scholarship program's lending functionality)

Milestone-based release

TrancheAmountTrigger
1$1,000 in UP (~621,000 UP)On approval of this proposal
2$1,000 in UP + $500 in ETHWhen all 10 founding seats are sold

The UP is not sold. It is transferred directly to the DG Token Vendor contract https://basescan.org/address/0x24DD71aDd0026E924e0Fc7a7701A851e2b9c09C4 and distributed to participants as they complete quests. So there is no sell pressure and no price impact, the grant simply enables the program to run and produce the activity described above.

The tranche structure means the DAO commits $1,000 to see whether the product sells, and releases the rest only once demand is proven.

Why do this?

The product is live and has already sold 1 of the 10 seats. The grant funds a reward reserve that gives prospective participants confidence in the program, and every token that leaves the vendor does so because a participant completed on-chain activity that paid protocol fees, added pool volume, and burned UP.

Approval of this proposal initiates the transfer of $1,000 in UP (621,000 UP) to the DG Token Vendor.

The prices and projections above are based on founding cohort prices at the time of proposal writing and can be subject to review.
