My reasons for wanting to be a delegate: As a dedicated DeFi researcher and advocate for decentralized governance, I am passionate about contributing to zkSync’s mission of scaling Ethereum in a trustless and privacy-centered manner. The Layer 2 ecosystem is evolving rapidly, and zkSync’s commitment to zk-rollup technology is vital to this transformation. I want to bring my experience in protocol governance, privacy, and community empowerment to help zkSync establish itself as a key player in DeFi. Being a delegate will allow me to actively engage in guiding zkSync’s growth, facilitating developer engagement, and fostering community participation.

My view on the ZK Credo: I am aligned with zkSync’s credo of securing user sovereignty, embracing privacy, and fostering innovation. The credo’s emphasis on decentralization, self-custody, and privacy-first principles resonates strongly with my own values. I believe zkSync’s approach to scaling should prioritize trustlessness, transparency, and usability, empowering users to maintain control over their assets and data. Building a privacy-conscious and accessible platform will not only attract more users but also set a standard for integrity in the DeFi space.

My skills + areas of expertise:

• DeFi Research and Strategy: With a background in economics and innovation, I bring a robust understanding of DeFi, particularly in collateralized debt positions (CDPs) and liquidity growth strategies.
• Hackathons and Developer Engagement: I am a serial hackathon participant and understand the needs and challenges of developers. I advocate for building tools and resources that enhance developer experience and foster experimentation within the zkSync ecosystem.
• Governance & Community Building: I have experience in DAO governance and believe in promoting transparent, community-centric decision-making. This ensures sustainable protocol growth with the community’s best interests at heart.
• Privacy Advocacy: Privacy is a core tenet of my philosophy in Web3, and I am committed to safeguarding user data and transactions via Web3Privacy Now community.

Disclosures/Conflicts: I am also actively involved in other projects and Layer 2 solutions, including work with CDP protocol on Optimism (@letsgethai) as well as a delegate for Scroll. I am committed to transparency in all governance participation and will recuse myself from votes that present a conflict of interest.
