We’d like to share an update on the proposed milestones for our grant submission BΔLT – Bitcoin Autonomous Legacy Trust, a dApp built on Rootstock to enable inheritance and long-term custody of Bitcoin in a trust-minimized way.
Based on community feedback and internal planning, we’ve refined our roadmap to better reflect the phases of development, audit, launch, and growth. Below is the updated milestone structure:
Milestone 1: Beta Test Improvements & Smart Contract Audit
Collect and implement feedback from beta testers
Publish updated smart contracts and documentation
Deliver a short technical summary of fixes and improvements
Hire a third-party firm to perform a full smart contract audit
Share the public audit report
Apply security recommendations or remediations
Validate contracts for mainnet deployment
Requested funds: 5,000 USD in RBTC
Milestone 2: Mainnet Launch + Initial Users
Launch BΔLT on Rootstock mainnet
Final integration with wallet/browser environments
Produce educational and promotional content:

Demo video
Discord and social media campaign
Onboard initial real users and gather post-launch feedback
Requested funds: 10,000 USD in RBTC
Milestone 3: Growth Strategy with Clear Objectives
Design and implement a user acquisition campaign
Establish partnerships with Bitcoin education communities and privacy-focused groups
Participate in relevant Web3/Bitcoin events to present BΔLT and network with potential users and integrators
Run targeted onboarding events or workshops
Gather qualitative feedback from users via public channels (Discord, social media, forums) to guide future iterations
Publish a transparent update on growth efforts, lessons learned, and community adoption strategies
Requested funds: 5,000 USD in RBTC
TOTAL Requested Grant: 20,000 USD (in RBTC)
