Geyser All-or-Nothing Crowdfunding powered by RootstockD15PL4Y_N4M3:Geyser ;Geyser is the leading Bitcoin-native crowdfunding platform. Over 2,240 projects launched, 108,000 contributors, and 42.4 BTC raised. From grassroots initiatives to global campaigns, we’ve helped creators turn ideas into reality using Bitcoin. But until now, all contributions on Geyser have been “take-it-all:” funds are sent directly from contributor to creator as they come in. This works well for instant support, but it limits certain types of projects from succeeding.

Some projects need a minimum amount of capital to happen. A book, a prototype, an app, an event—if they don’t raise enough, they don’t actually launch. Right now, creators and contributors lack clarity on what happens to the funds of a project that can't happen. This creates hesitation, and momentum is lost.
All-or-Nothing (AON) solves this. If a project meets its goal within a set timeframe, funds are released to the creator. If not, contributors are refunded. All enforced through smart contracts—no trust or middlemen.
This model works. Kickstarter raised over $706M in 2024 using AON model. And it’s time for it to come to Bitcoin.
We’re building it on Rootstock using EVM-compatible smart contracts. Funds are held in escrow until the campaign ends. The contract tracks project states—successful, failed, claimed, refunded. If successful, creators have 30 days to claim funds. If they don’t, contributors can refund themselves. If left unclaimed, funds go to Geyser Grants to support the ecosystem.
The architecture is secure and modular. Contracts use non-upgradable proxies, removing custodial risk while allowing flexible updates. Built with the Boltz team, the setup is designed for security, efficiency, and extensibility.
When creating a project, creators choose Take-it-all or AON, set a goal and campaign duration (1–60 days). Contributions are in Bitcoin—Lightning or on-chain. Funds are swapped to RBTC through Boltz.
No MetaMask needed, no RBTC, just Bitcoin and a simple password to redeem or recover funds.
This is how we scale trust on Bitcoin. AON is the foundation for what comes next: milestone disbursement, grant matching, split contributions. Rootstock has the potential to power it all, and this is the first step.
Team: Mick Morucci (CEO), Stelios Rammos (CTO), Sajal Dulal (Frontend). We’ve already launched over 2,240 projects, won the Bitcoin Miami Pitch Competition, and raised $500K+ from various investors and angels.
We’re requesting a $20,000 grant. We're already building this functionality. Pilot roll-out in July, full launch in September.
With AON, Geyser brings a proven crowdfunding model to Bitcoin, built to power the Bitcoin ecosystem through Rootstock.
