I’ve been a part of PoolTogether for a few years now and have always felt that PT is something unique in crypto, and something special on Discord. Our community is constantly pushing people to their greatness; just see all the wornderful community members now full-time crypto. Our vibes are fierce; look as all the help our discord offers to newbies and veterans alike. And our passion for the protocol exceeds our vibes; see all the active governance votes, discussions in discourse, and conversations in discord. These things have always been a constant of the community, and to be a delegate you must embrace the community and represent the community.

I feel that I have always maintained a fair and level discourse throughout my PoolTogether swim. I may not be a shadowy supercoder, but I’ve always tried to understand the positions of those in the community be it a vocal minority, a vocal activist, or a less than vocal lurker with an opinion. All poolers matter when it comes to the direction of the protocol and voting. And I believe all Poolers need a voice in the evolution of the PoolTogether.

I have tried to maintain a minimum level of activity when IRL gets too busy; even if it’s just lurking on the channels for governance, the council and teams, and the hodlers hangout. And when IRL isn’t absorbing my life, my regular discord hangout is the PoolTogether server. I’ve even helped establish the Friends of Pooly because the community was so strong and wanted an activist way to represent and fight for crypto.
