Abstract
This proposal contains no specific content or financial implications and serves purely to test the UI/UX for a possible migration of the Lisk DAO’s governance interface from Tally to Degov.ai. Due to the upcoming shutdown of Tally’s services by the end of March 2026, the Lisk DAO must transition to a new platform to ensure uninterrupted governance. This proposal initiates a community-wide test vote on Degov.ai to verify the new interface’s functionality and familiarize members with the updated voting process.
Motivation
The Lisk DAO currently relies on Tally for proposal creation and on-chain voting. With Tally’s official announcement to cease operations by March 31, 2026, maintaining the status quo is no longer possible. To prevent any lapse in decentralized governance, it is imperative to move to a stable, integrated alternative. The Degov.ai team has been running a Lisk DAO integration for several months already, making them the most prepared and logical partner for this transition.
Rationale
Transitioning to Degov.ai ensures the Lisk DAO remains operational and decentralized. By running a "test proposal" before any high-stakes governance decisions are made, we mitigate the risk of technical errors and user confusion. This move aligns with our commitment to providing a seamless, transparent governance experience.
