1. The Idea

Lil Nouns Scooter is a project that brings Lil Nouns from the digital world into the physical world through five small electric scooters, each designed around a different Lil Nouns character.

The five scooters will be placed at Noyo Gimbal View, Indonesia, and will be available free of charge to visitors.

Visitors can ride the scooters, interact with the characters, take photos or videos, and share their experiences on social media.

The goal is simple:

To create a real-world IRL experience and a continuous source of organic content generated by the public.

2. About Me

I am Deguma, an artist from Indonesia.

Over the past several years, I have developed a number of projects that bring Nouns into physical spaces, including:

• Nouns Piggy Bank
• Nouns Dragon Booth
• Nouns Cat Statue

These projects are located at Noyo Gimbal View and remain active today.

Lil Nouns Scooter is a continuation of this approach: transforming digital characters into physical experiences that can directly interact with the public.

3. Why Noyo Gimbal View?

Noyo Gimbal View is a tourism destination in Indonesia that receives approximately 29,000 visitors per month.

The location has already hosted several Nouns IRL projects and provides an environment where these physical creations can interact directly with the general public.

The experience we want to create is simple:

See → Touch → Ride → Experience → Share

Visitors do not need to know anything about NFTs, crypto, or Lil Nouns to enjoy the experience.

4. Lil Nouns Scooter

Each scooter will use a commercial electric scooter as its base, which will then be redesigned and modified around a Lil Nouns character.

The five scooters will represent five different Lil Nouns characters.

Concept Art

The designs will focus on ease of use, comfort, and safety for visitors.

Each unit will be a physical interpretation of its respective character, creating five distinct objects that are recognizable, visually engaging, and easy to photograph.

Together, the five units will form a small physical collection of Lil Nouns in the real world.

5. Community Participation

The five Lil Nouns characters will be selected with input from the Lil Nouns community.

A simple Google Form will allow community members to suggest characters they would like to see brought into the physical world. They can submit a character, explain their choice, and share additional ideas or suggestions. Requests can also be submitted directly via DM.

No wallet connection or Sign in with Ethereum is required.

This gives the community a direct role in shaping the physical experience, making the project more open and collaborative.

6. Public Good

The five scooters will serve as a public experience at Noyo Gimbal View.

There will be:

• no rental fee;
• no special admission fee;
• no revenue sharing;
• no commercial rental model.

The scooters will be free for visitors as an open IRL public experience.

Their use will be supervised by Noyo Gimbal View staff, with regular inspections and maintenance to keep the units in safe and usable condition.

7. Funding Request

$3,900

The requested funding will be used to build 5 Lil Nouns Scooters.

Estimated budget:

Construction will be carried out by Deguma together with the Noyo Gimbal View Creative Team.

The grant will not be used to build a garage or provide operational staff.

Noyo Gimbal View will provide the facilities and operational resources already available at the location.

8. Long-Term Management

After production, all five scooters will remain at Noyo Gimbal View.

Noyo Gimbal View will provide:

• storage;
• staff;
• charging;
• routine maintenance;
• basic repairs;
• usage supervision.

Weekend Operation

The Lil Nouns Scooters will operate regularly on Saturdays and Sundays.

This schedule is designed to help preserve the condition and lifespan of the fleet while also matching visitor patterns at Noyo Gimbal View.

Weekends are the busiest period at the destination, and content creators are also more active during these days. Concentrating operations during this period allows the scooters to receive greater public interaction and more opportunities for content creation, while allowing time outside operating hours for inspection, maintenance, and charging.

The goal is not simply to maximize usage, but to ensure the long-term sustainability and condition of the fleet.

The grant creates the physical assets, while the existing facilities at Noyo Gimbal View allow those assets to remain active and accessible to the public.

9. Community-Generated Content

Every ride can become Lil Nouns content.

Visitors will be encouraged to share their experiences using:

The characters can be introduced to visitors who may have never encountered Lil Nouns, NFTs, or crypto before.

The scooters will remain at a public tourism destination and can continue to be used over time.

Community Content

Real-world experiences can generate photos and videos that visitors share organically.

IRL Experiment

The project provides a small, tangible example of how Lil Nouns characters can be translated into an open physical experience for the public.

The final result is concrete:

11. Measuring Success

After launch, the use of the scooters will be documented to understand how the public interacts with the project.

• usage activity over time.

Photos, videos, and project updates can be shared with the Lil Nouns community.

The project will therefore produce not only five physical scooters, but also data and practical experience that can inform future IRL projects.
