Overview
TLDR; The Lil Nouns x Annual Family Fishing Day is an IRL community/social impact activation designed to introduce families and youth to Lil Nouns through sports fishing and playful, hands-on experiences. The event is co-hosted and produced by Lil Nouns x Lils community member NatalieCrüe and Valley Community SDA Community Services (our host).

Highlights
-Public Goods/Community Impact event -T-Shirt Designed by prolific fine artist and designer Brian Morris -Robust content creation w/ 4 month plan (Pre event, Live, and Post-Event) -Nounish merch (stickers, keychains, toys, etc) for kids
This annual event is expected to draw over 300 attendees, including over 228 youth. Within 3 hours of opening our pre-registration form, there were already over 200 signups.. and counting. There has been a massive demand for this event by the community at-large with over 103 shares in 3 hours on our original FB announcement in one of the largest FB groups in our city and region as well as countless requests to open up another registration period.

History
This particular event has been running for over two decades in Stockton, CA. Through sports, fishing education and community-centric activities, thousands of under-resourced families and youth have been able to build community and belonging, build bridges between their respective communities, and participate in positive activities in a city where crime runs rampant. Adventist Community Services has supported our longstanding community events for decades without strings attached.
However, it is time for a revamp. Through the lens of Lil Nouns ⌐◨-◨ and our love for play, IRL events, color, and public goods; we have totally reimagined this annual event. With help from several members from our Lil Nouns community and some incredible community collaborations, this event has been reborn and made a Lil Nounish. This is not a religious event. It is a Non-Profit event. This event is inclusive to anyone who wants to attend no matter what their background, beliefs, and interests is/are.
Lil Nouns has successfully funded multiple IRL activations that create low-barrier, high-fun entry points for events, communities and new audiences. These activities work because they focus on shared experiences, culture and community building rather than technical explanations. Lil Nouns funding and support have consistently prioritized projects that make the ecosystem visible, approachable, and fun. This Annual Family Fishing Day is a natural extension of this approach. Families in our community frequently attend community events and activities regularly and sports, of all types from football to sports fishing, has always been a huge thing in Stockton. Meeting communities and young people where they already are and offering them creative, hands-on Lil Nouns experiences is the most effective way to execute social impact projects on the ground.
Logistics

Date September 13, 2026 Venue Oak Grove Regional Park, Stockton, CA Duration 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (5 hours) Capacity 300+ attendees (250+ youth expected) Format Community fishing day, Lil Resource Fair & BBQ, and a creative Lil Nouns activation via a Stamp Rally, Nounish merch, etc
Lil Nouns will be threaded throughout the event from the marketing occurring before the event (has already started), to media and press engagement, integrated onsite engagement via a stamp rally activation, event merch and some amazing prizes and awards, social content, and post event via social marketing and cc0 content. This is NOT a sponsorship. This is an event, with existing community buy-in, that has been rebuilt AND reimagined through the lens and fabric of Lil Nouns.
At the heart of this social impact and public goods activation is a Lil Nouns Stamp Rally event and Fishing Derby where attendees will: -Receive a limited edition Lil Nouns shirt designed by prolific fine artist, Brian Morris -Customize a tackle box with Lil Nouns stickers and accessories to take home as a long lasting memory -Receive free fishing gear (fishing pole, rod/reel, etc) and Nounish merch (keychains, toys, etc) -One-of-a-kind Lil Nouns trophy for the derby winner -Participate in a Lil Nouns Stamp Rally event -Visit booths from local community organizations via our Lil Resource Fair
Participants will engage in a stamp rally, similar to what you'd find at anime conventions, where attendees visit different booths and activity stations to collect stamps on a postcard. A completed card earns a pair of Noggles and other prizes. This gamified approach drives foot traffic to all event booths including out Lil Resource fair and creates a fun, exploratory experience for families.

Audience
The Lil Nouns x Annual Family Fishing Day is designed to serve a diverse, intergenerational audience with a shared interest in community, family, and the outdoors. Our outreach efforts are focused on the following key segments:

Target Audience:
-Families with children ages 5–12 in California's Central Valley
-Youth who participate in sports and outdoor activities
-Under-resourced families seeking free community activities and resources
-The broader Stockton and San Joaquin County regional community (this event has been running for over two decades. First year with this new format)

This proposal requests $7,667.04 USDC from Lil Nouns DAO. The funds will cover the specific, Nounish event and activation elements as listed below.
Adventist Community Services, which has graciously hosted our community events for decades, and additional local sponsors are contributing to the event via venue down payment costs, permit costs and sanitation setup, additional tables, water, marketing, pre-event storage, some food, and general event operations. Promotion & Marketing
Promotion for the Lil Nouns x Annual Family Fishing Day is already underway and gaining significant momentum. Within 3 hours of opening our pre-registration form, we received 228 signups with over 105 shares in one of the region's largest Facebook group (129,000+ members). This demonstrates the massive community demand and the effectiveness of our grassroots outreach.

Measures of Success
The Lil Nouns x Annual Family Fishing Day is more than a single event. It is the flagship activation in a broader ecosystem of community engagement and public goods. Our activation and rollout has already begun and will continue beyond the event itself as we roll out recap content and upcoming events.
Our goals are designed to measure not only the success of this event but also its effectiveness as a pipeline for future initiatives, including our upcoming immersive touring free book fair, decentralized art festival, and ongoing community activations.
We have organized our goals into four key pillars: Attendance and Reach, Engagement and Participation, Satisfaction and Sentiment, and Follow Up Activity and Community Growth.
Metric Target Measurement Method Total attendees 300+ On-site count and registration data Youth participants 250 Pre-registration and on-site check-in Pre-registration 228 Google Forms registration data Social media reach 244k Facebook, Instagram, X analytics Media Hits 10 Press coverage tracking
Attendance and Reach These metrics measure our ability to draw the community in and validate the effectiveness of our promotional channels.
Our primary target is 300 or more total attendees, measured through registration data and stamp rally card collection and distribution, as well as post-event surveys and follow up. This establishes a baseline for scaling future events. We are specifically targeting 250 or more youth participants between the ages of 1 and 17, tracked through registration data and Stamp Rally card distribution. Reaching families is critical, as they are our primary audience for current and future educational, social impact, and creative activations.
Engagement and Participation Our live social media presence will include a minimum of 20 posts across channels (Refer to our #LilDerby Tracker), keeping our digital community engaged in real-time. We will also conduct live stream broadcasts in 10 to 30 minute intervals during peak activity, providing authentic content that builds trust with remote audiences. People may also join our Discord and other channels via our event QR code.
Satisfaction Satisfaction is the leading indicator of long-term community growth. Families who have a positive experience are more likely to attend future events, join Lil Nouns channels, and spread the word to their networks.
