Overview

I am proposing a six-month pilot program in which I would serve as the Lil Nouns IP Proliferation Steward.

The primary objective of this initiative is to maximize the visibility and utilization of an original Lil Nouns character intellectual property (IP) across both online and real-world channels.

Core Activities

The core activities of this pilot will include:

• Organizing and producing monthly, high-quality Lil Arena Dota 2 tournaments, which will serve as the flagship advertising vehicle for the Lil Nouns brand.
• Creating an original character IP in the distinctive Lil Nouns style. This will include developing animations, manufacturing plush toys, and producing a full, high-quality mascot for use in both content and real-world events.
• Launching a permanent Print-on-Demand store at lilnouns.store, which will provide ongoing access to branded merchandise.
• Consistently proliferating the Lil Nouns brand through online channels and select in-person activations to maximize visibility.
• Proactively building email lists for future Lil Nouns newsletters and merchandise drops, helping to establish a direct line of communication with the community.

All activities and progress will be permanently documented, primarily on X, with cross-posts to Facebook to engage Spanish-speaking audiences.

Lil Arena (Monthly Flagship)

Each month of the pilot will feature the following key elements:

• 4 Open Qualifiers

• Main Event: 4-team single elimination (Bo3 semis + Bo5 grand final)

• Full-scale production, including player cameras, branded overlays, heads-up display (HUD) elements, smooth transitions, and comprehensive social content packages.

  

Mandatory Rules for Participation

• Every team name must include a Lil animal (Lil Orca, Lil Mouse, Lil Frog, Lil Car, etc.)
• Full Lil Nouns character branding required to play
• Main Event players must provide an email for Lil Nouns newsletters

Lil Arena is deliberately designed to serve as a grassroots training ground. It provides emerging players with consistent opportunities for competitive experience, while also simulating the administrative standards of top-tier tournaments.

Character IP Creation

I will create original characters in the signature Lil Nouns aesthetic, rather than simply adapting existing assets. This will include:

• Animation

• Plushies

• A full high-quality mascot

  

The mascot will be used both in digital content and real-world activations. It is planned to make appearances in Minneapolis during Halloween and/or Christmas, as soon as it becomes available.

These assets will serve as long-term brand tools, extending the impact of this initiative beyond the conclusion of the pilot.

Permanent Store + Email Lists

• Launch lilnouns.store, a Print-on-Demand online store for branded merchandise.

• Ensure the store continues to operate beyond the six-month pilot period.

• Enable Main Event players and store customers to join email lists for notifications about future merchandise drops and character IP updates.

Budget

Note on compensation: The $1,000 per month is intended as supplemental compensation. Each Lil Arena event requires significant production efforts, often exceeding twelve hours per event. I will contribute substantial personal time, resources, and additional funding to ensure the project’s success. This compensation is intended to help offset the extra costs required to maximize the overall impact.

Guaranteed Deliverables

• Complete six full Lil Arena tournament cycles, each including open qualifiers and a main event.
• Launch and maintain a permanent online store at lilnouns.store, making Lil Nouns merchandise continuously available.
• Design and produce a high-quality mascot that represents the Lil Nouns brand.
• Develop and deliver original animation assets in the Lil Nouns aesthetic.
• Publish monthly public reports on X, documenting progress, participation, and key learnings throughout the pilot.
• Produce a comprehensive six-month retrospective report, including data, analysis, and actionable recommendations for future initiatives.

Accountability

• Monthly public updates will be posted on X, including participation statistics, content produced, key learnings, and overall progress.
• All content will be permanently archived on X for transparency and accountability.
• A comprehensive retrospective will be conducted at the end of month six.
• This program is explicitly a pilot; there is no automatic renewal. The DAO will review results and determine next steps based on outcomes.

Timeline

• Month 1: Host the first Lil Arena tournament, launch lilnouns.store, and initiate character IP and mascot development work.
• Months 2–5: Continue hosting monthly Lil Arena tournaments, maintain ongoing brand proliferation activities, and advance character development.
• Halloween / Christmas: Implement in-person mascot activations in Minneapolis during these seasonal events.
• Month 6: Host the final Lil Arena tournament and deliver a comprehensive retrospective report.
