Proposal

Summary

  • Lil Purr Patrol is a customized remote-controlled feeding vehicle that will distribute food to community cats across Makati while documenting the experience through action-camera footage.
  • Lil Purr Patrol is more than a feeding initiative, it is a creative approach to animal welfare that will use nounish storytelling to inspire compassion. This proposal aims to help improve the lives of community cats while encouraging more people to support adoption, responsible pet care, and volunteer-driven animal welfare efforts.
  • The proposal seeks $1450 funding for 2 customized Lil Purr Patrol, 30 sacks of kibble and 15 boxes of canned wet foods.

The Problem

Despite the dedicated efforts of volunteer groups through daily feeding, adoption drives, and quarterly spay and neuter programs, many community cats in Makati continue to face uncertainty. Public awareness about responsible community cat care remains limited, resulting in low adoption rates, misconceptions about stray cats, and insufficient support for volunteer-led initiatives.

By making community cat care more visible and relatable, we hope to build greater public support and create lasting positive impact for both the cats and the volunteers who care for them.

Delivery Plan

A small 4x4 remote-controlled vehicle will be transformed into the Lil Purr Patrol carrying kibble and wet food to community cats. The vehicle will be equipped with an action camera to capture unique perspectives of feeding sessions and cat interactions.

Why Lil Purr Patrol?

Similar content has already gained significant traction in other countries, proving its ability to reach a broad audience and generate positive engagement. By adapting this concept through the Lil Purr Patrol, we can use entertaining and shareable content to raise awareness about community cat welfare while inspiring more people to support volunteer-led initiatives. (food donations, adoption, veterinary funds)

How It Works

  1. Fill the Lil Purr Patrol with kibble and wet food.
  2. Drive the vehicle toward designated feeding areas.
  3. Community cats approach and receive their meals.
  4. Capture the experience using a Insta360 action camera mounted on the vehicle.
  5. Produce short-form videos and social media content showcasing the feeding missions. Post on our official Instagram and other socials.

Expected Impact

Direct Impact

  • Additional nutritional support for over 100 cats cared for by local volunteers as we are currently facing cat food shortage.
  • Increased visibility for community cat welfare efforts.
  • Increased adoption rate.

Community Impact

  • Greater public understanding of how to interact with and care for stray cats.
  • Increased awareness of the benefits of spay and neuter programs.
  • More people considering adoption through local rescue groups.
  • Stronger support for volunteer-led animal welfare initiatives.

Ecosystem Impact

  • By combining public-good work with creative content, Lil Purr Patrol demonstrates how Nounish culture can make everyday acts of kindness more visible, engaging, and shareable. The project transforms routine feeding activities into a tool for education, advocacy, and positive community engagement.

Content Delivery (2 videos weekly) The contents will highlight;

  • The lives of community cats
  • Responsible feeding practices
  • The importance of spay and neuter (all our community cats are neutered and spayed, except kittens and cats new to the area)
  • The cats that are ready for adoption, to give them higher chances of being adopted. (Adopt Don't Shop! advocacy)

Cats of Legazpi Village (COLV) and MaCATizen - Volunteers of these groups will be assigned to document, compile and edit the Lil Purr Patrol initiative.

Kimmydeuk - will be checking every content before posting to make sure it properly executes the goals of Lil Purr Patrol initiative, and will also do a monthly report with the impact on the cats being supported.

Timeline

While this proposal outlines the initial phase of Lil Purr Patrol, the mission itself has no defined end. As long as there are community cats in need, the Lil Purr Patrol will continue rolling, delivering meals, spreading awareness, and bringing a lil nounish joy to every cats wherever it goes.

Beyond providing immediate food assistance, this proposal aims to create a sustainable cycle of support. Through engaging content that resonates with a wider audience, we hope to inspire donations, partnerships, and community involvement. As awareness grows, our goal is for volunteers to no longer face recurring shortages of cat food, allowing the Lil Purr Patrol to continue its mission of feeding and caring for community cats without interruption.

(7 days after the funding, Lil Purr Patrol will be seen in action. This timeframe allows sufficient time for customization of the components and necessary test drives)

Team

  • Kimmydeuk - Aside from being a nounish artist, I am also a member of COLV (Cats of Legazpi Village) for over a year.
  • Cats of Legazpi Village and Macatizen - Almost a decade old volunteer-led group that takes care of the community cats. Aside from feeding, the group is also hosting adoption drives and quarterly neuter and spay programs.

With the support of this proposal, we can provide meals, create meaningful content, and give community cats the visibility and care they deserve.
