1. TL;DR

Nogglesboard proposes a 10 month Lil Nouns cultural expansion through physical products, media, and IRL activations that turn Lil identity into real-world objects, stories, and community touchpoints.

The project will deliver a Lil Nouns surfboard, upcycled sandals and sunglasses, 100 artistic soap collectibles, apparel, five original highquality films, two cultural activations, QR-linked digital infrastructure, and a reusable CC0 archive for Lil Nouns.

Rather than producing isolated merch or short-term marketing, the goal is to build a physical, to digital cultural layer for Lil Nouns: products that generate stories, stories that drive discovery, and media/assets that the DAO can keep using across social, events, websites, and future projects.

2. Nogglesboard History

Nogglesboard began with upcycled skate decks and viral content alongside Will Dias, channeling a raw, playful energy that quickly resonated across the DAO. Blending skateboarding, internet native creativity, and the nounish spirit in a way that felt authentic both IRL and URL.

That energy expanded with Prop 752, when we merged into surf through Zimardrp, unlocking a new wave of experimentation with nounish surfboards, physical products, and a growing stream of content and real world activations. Along the way, Nogglesboard became a consistent presence in the DAO: building, shipping, collaborating, and connecting with a wider network of surfers, skaters, artists, and partners like Airdrop Culture, Maze Surf Crafts, Gnars DAO, and Higher.

Now, after a year of momentum, community building, and creative experimentation, it feels like the right moment to evolve that energy into something a bit more… lil, a fresh perspective.

Throughout the project, we will prioritize the production of audiovisual designed to amplify the Lil Nouns ecosystem through authentic Nogglesboard creations. Each activation will combine art, design, surf, skateboarding, upcycling, and onchain culture while organically directing audiences toward Lil Nouns platforms such as lilnouns.wtf, lils.wtf, lilnouns.camp, and the broader Nouns ecosystem, like nogglesboard.wtf, nouns.world, nounsTV etc.

1. LilNouns: Objects of Utility. From Skateboard to Artifact

(LiL Wooden Sandals & Sunglasses Documentary) A design-driven film documenting the transformation of broken skateboards into handcrafted Lil Nouns sandals and wooden sunglasses. The narrative explores upcycling, craftsmanship, skate culture, and physical product creation as a reflection of Lil Nouns' creative spirit.

2. LiLNouns Waves, A New Line

(Ana Dagostin × LiL Nouns Surfboard) A playful surf film following Ana Dagostin receiving and riding a custom Lil Nouns surfboard. Combining surfing, interviews, art, and product interaction, the piece introduces Lil Nouns through a colorful, optimistic, and youth-oriented visual language.

3. QR to LiLNouns, Riding Weird

(Gnarsymmetrical Session & Onchain Surf Experience) A more underground and raw surf short featuring Zima riding the Gnarsym 001 while interacting with a QR-linked Lil Nouns experience. Inspired by independent surf cinema, the film connects physical objects, surfing, and onchain discovery through a more technical and experimental tone.

4. LiLNouns Soap, Proof of Imagination

(Lil Artistic Soap Documentary) A documentary-style piece covering the artist crreation, onchain submissions, 3D design process, soap production, and the transformation of embedded artworks into collectible objects and keychains. The film highlights community participation and creative experimentation within the Lil ecosystem.

5. LiLNouns Network State of Mind

(Lil Nouns Exhibition & Community Activation) A special event film documenting a dedicated Lil Nouns activation featuring NFT projections, artwork exhibitions, DJs, community interaction, merchandise, and audiovisual experiences. The output serves as both cultural documentation and promotional media for future Lil Nouns initiatives.

CC0 Media Contribution

The inclusion of “Lil Nouns” within film titles and media outputs is intentional, creating a searchable and enduring content archive that strengthens the DAO’s discoverability across platforms such as YouTube, search engines, social media, and AI-driven indexing systems. Rather than producing repetitive marketing materials, each film explores a distinct narrative angle surf, craftsmanship, events, artists, products, and onchain culture resulting in a diverse body of high-quality media that expands the visibility, identity, and cultural footprint of Lil Nouns over time.

All films, photography, design assets, interviews, and supporting media will be released under CC0, creating a reusable content library for Lil Nouns contributors, social channels, newsletters, websites, and future governance initiatives. Given the current opportunity to expand Lil Nouns' long-form video presence, the project aims to strengthen the DAO's storytelling capabilities while providing authentic, media for years to come.

5. IRL Activation

The proposal includes two core physical activations designed to expand Lil Nouns visibility through real-world cultural presence, audiovisual production, and community interaction. The first activation is a fully Lil-focused premiere/exhibition event hosted at LADO B in Rio de Janeiro, combining retroprojector NFT visuals, live DJ performances by Lil Charles and Lil Groove, Lil-themed styling/apparel, music, and immersive artistic atmosphere. The activation will also generate a dedicated cinematic media output documenting the intersection between Lil Nouns, music, visual art, and internet-native culture.

The second activation would take place at a major crypto/cultural environment such as ETH Samba, ETH Brazil, or a Florianópolis-based event, where the team would physically represent Lil Nouns through apparel, product showcases, stickers, soaps, and community-oriented activations integrated into existing crypto and creative ecosystems.

Executing these activations requires a lean, mobility-first logistics structure, prioritizing a minimal core team (Zima, Will, and limited support), optimized transportation/accommodation planning, short production windows, and localized resource usage to reduce operational overhead while maintaining strong execution quality and media output throughout the project.

7. Impact

This proposal helps expand Lil Nouns beyond governance and social feeds by creating a body of authentic media, physical products, and cultural experiences rooted in real communities. Through Nogglesboard’s network of artists, surfers, skaters, filmmakers, and builders, the project generates original CC0 content that can continuously support Lil Nouns across websites, social platforms, events, and future initiatives. At a time when the ecosystem has relatively limited long-form media and audiovisual documentation, the proposal focuses on creating lasting cultural assets rather than short-term marketing.

By combining artist collaboration, onchain participation, handcrafted products, surf culture, and documentary-style storytelling, the project introduces new pathways for people to discover and engage with Lil Nouns. We're requesting a portion of compensation in ETH because the project extends over approximately nine months and we are comfortable sharing market exposure alongside the DAO.
