Proposal

League of Lils Spanshot

TL;DR Funding for a fully-produced online Dota 2 tournament where Lil Nouns is the main primary sponsor and tournament brand. Chompix handles full production and at least 45 hours of official broadcast. 16 invited teams each representing a Lil Noun of their choice, $1,500 USDC prize pool, 10 Lil Nouns t-shirt merch giveaways, and a community Lil Bracket prediction hosted on chompix.app with 1 Lil Noun as prize. All assets, including social media posts, will be Lil Nouns branded.

Background This proposal brings a high-quality Dota 2 event in partnership with Chompix, with Lil Nouns serving as the main primary sponsor and tournament brand. League of Lils is a fun league-style Dota 2 tournament designed to build hype and strong community engagement around Lil Nouns esports. It also draws attention to the League of Lils Snapshot space, where Lil Nouns vote on Nouns proposals. All visual assets, graphics, and social media posts will be fully Lil Nouns branded with teams representing a Lil Noun of their choice, creating fun matchups such as Lil Orcas vs Lil Rats.

Partnership with Chompix Lil Nouns will be the sole major sponsor. Small additional sponsors may be included provided they have no conflicts of interest with Lil Nouns and are not other DAOs.

Chompix

About Chompix Chompix is the tournament organizer and English-language caster. He has put together over $7,000 in self-funded prize pools (this does not include paid sponsorships).

Proven Track Record League of Lils builds directly on the previous Nounish Cup tournament successfully funded by Lil Nouns in partnership with Chompix. The $500 USDC sponsorship from Lil Nouns for the event got us strong, measurable results:

  • Viewership (Nounish Cup #2): 15+ hours of broadcast • 140 average concurrent viewers • 198 peak viewers • 393 total hours watched
  • X (Twitter) reach: ~14,400 impressions from Lil Nouns-branded tournament posts
  • Community growth: 578 new users joined the Nouns.gg ecosystem + active participation in Nouns GG discord.

Nounish Casters

This past event showed that even small, fun Lil Nouns-branded Dota 2 tournaments drive real attention and bring new people into our community. League of Lils simply scales the same proven format to 45+ hours of professional broadcast while keeping costs low.

Deliverables

  • League of Lils – Dota 2
    • Full event spans two weeks with 16 invited teams (Americas and possible Europe if ping allows).

    • Every team represents a Lil Noun of their choice, resulting in matchups such as Lil Orca vs Lil Mouse.

    • Only the playoffs (8 teams) will be broadcasted: 13 Best-of-Three series + Grand Final Best-of-Five.

    • Full production with at least 45 hours of official broadcast on Twitch.

    • $1,500 USDC prize pool.

      Example Image

Lil Orcas vs. Lil Mice (fan-art AI GIF).

  • Lil Bracket Prediction
    • Community bracket prediction contest hosted on chompix.app.

    • 1 Lil Noun awarded to the winner.

      Chompix.app

  • Merch Giveaways
    • 10 Lil Nouns t-shirts given out during the week of the tournament.
  • Production & Logistics (Chompix)
    • ~20 hours pre-event planning
    • ~15 hours in-event production prep
    • ~45 hours on air
    • ~10 hours post-event logistics
    • Total: 90 hours
  • Promotion & Community Engagement
    • Social media posts on X using Lil Nouns branding and assets (posted by Chompix and/or Lil Nouns accounts)

    • Active updates in the #lil-esports Discord channel driving users to Lil Nouns Discord

      Lil Tee

Timeline

  • Tournament window: May 17 – May 31, 2026
  • Broadcast, bracket, and community events: during the two-week period
  • Post-event review & deliverables report: June 1 – June 13, 2026
  • Chompix final payout (subject to DAO approval): June 14, 2026

Risk Mitigation & DAO Control To give the DAO full control, the $1,500 USDC production fee to Chompix will only be paid after the event. After the tournament ends, Chompix will submit a full deliverables report with VOD links. Lil Nouns DAO members will have until June 14, 2026 to review whether professional standards were met (minimum 45 hours of official Lil Nouns-branded broadcast, branding quality, etc.). If the community feels the deliverables were not met, the DAO can vote to cancel or reduce the final payout before it is released. This gives the DAO a real “off switch” and ensures we only pay for results.

Budget

  • Chompix production & organizing (90 hours): $1,500 USDC
  • Dota 2 prize pool: $1,500 USDC
  • Merch giveaways (10 Lil Nouns t-shirts): $350 USDC
  • Bracket prediction reward: 1 Lil Noun

Total Ask: $3,350 USDC + 1 Lil Noun

Why Fund This? League of Lils is not a serious pro-esports investment — it is a fun, meme-first brand activation where 16 teams each pick a Lil Noun and create ridiculous matchups (Lil Orcas vs Lil Mice, Lil Toasters vs Lil Sasquatches, etc.). Every graphic, cast, and social post will be 100% Lil Nouns-branded.

We get 45+ hours of professional Twitch content, merch giveaways, and a community bracket contest that funnels new people straight into Lil Nouns Discord and Snapshot — all while maintaining full DAO oversight with the conditional payout on June 14.
