Overview
I'm proposing Lil Nouns Safety School, a small playful public-good project to teach wallet safety in a friendly Lil Nouns–branded interface hosted on https://lilnouns.academy/.
This is designed to help people avoid common Web3 mistakes in a way that’s simple, intuitive, and easy to learn.
The project focuses on five lessons, interactive phishing simulators, a final quiz, and an NFT badge as a reward for completion.

Why Lil Nouns Safety School
Even in 2026 there are tons of phishing campaigns, hacks and exploits causing billions of dollars of damage to the Web3 industry. I wanted to build a nounish resource for beginners to learn basic wallet safety & protect themselves. The goal is help people avoid common Web3 mistakes in a way that’s friendly, quick, and not confusing or filled with jargon.
Most existing safety resources are:
- too long
- too technical
- too serious
Lil Nouns Safety School takes a different approach:
- short and approachable
- visual and interactive
- designed to be completed in minutes
The goal is to teach core concepts well and reduce the occurrence of most commonly avoidable mistakes.
What We’re Building
Five Lesson Modules on wallet safety (One module currently live in the Demo)
Lesson 1: Protect Your Seed Phrase
- What a seed phrase is
- Why sharing it leads to instant loss
- Common scam patterns
- Clear do’s and don’ts
Content is intentionally short and easily learnable. The remaining lessons will be on spotting phishing links, fake mint pages, malicious approvals, safe signing practices and more.
Phishing Simulators
- Fake mint page scenario simulator
- Obvious red flags (URL, copy, urgency cues)
- Click-through interaction with immediate feedback
The simulator reinforces learning through interaction rather than testing.
Short Quizzes
- 5-10 multiple-choice questions for each lesson
- Pass / fail with retry option
Completion Badge
- Simple ERC-721 NFT badge on polygon or base
- Mintable after passing the final quiz
- Static image and metadata
- No traits, no rarity
The badge serves as proof of completion, an on-chain credential.
Measurable Outcomes
- Public site live on https://lilnouns.academy/
- All Lessons, simulators, quizzes, and badge minting functioning end-to-end
- Completion badge mintable by users

About me I’ve been in crypto for 10+ years and love building stuff. Some interesting(?) things about me - I've had a stint in research at MIT, went through a startup accelerator for an edtech product, been to Antarctica and collect NFTs, Sneakers & Pokemon cards.
