Proposal

Chainlink feeds (oracles) are updated every time either the quote has deviated a 0.5% from what's reporting, or 1 day has passed since the last report. Hai oracles are configured to read the timestamp of the feed, and dismiss it if it is older than a set threshold (1 hours). For most collaterals this is not an issue, as volatility causes updates in the feeds, but on wstETH/ETH feed, since there's usually not much deviation, it causes the oracle to dismiss the quote and halt the collateral.

This proposal does:

  • deploy a ChainlinkRelayer using a staleThreshold of 1 day
  • deploy a DenominatedOracleusing deployed oracle as priceSource
  • deploy a DelayedOracle pointing to the denominated one
  • NOT perform any changes in any protocol parameters
