SEEDGov is as a dynamic and evolving vertical within the SEED Org ecosystem, dedicated to shaping the future of decentralized governance in the web3 space through active participation, community engagement, decision-making and experimentation.
Pro Delegates We are the first Latam based Delegate Platform actively engaging in various governance activities. Rooted in community values, we've shifted from educational models to a participatory approach, driving a new chapter in how individuals collaborate, coordinate, and decide in the ever-changing landscape of Web3.

Our delegation will do its utmost to represent and embody our values in governance:
Growth and Adoption: We share Vitalik's perspective on the role that HAI can play as a stablecoin with an activist governance. We will drive and support all initiatives that allow for growth and adoption of HAI while keeping the ethos: “ETH is the collateral”. This means supporting staked ETH and also boosting non-dominant forms of it.
Long-term Sustainability and Revenue: We will support and promote all initiatives and proposals that develop reliable, secure, and revenue-stable products for the protocol.
Security and reliability: We will also be alert to potential points of excessive centralization that could affect the protocol. Allowing us to guarantee optimal security, thus transmitting greater security for HAI holders, partners, and participants in the protocol.
Ethos and commitment: HAI can take the position of being the Ethereum-aligned stablecoin. The perfect balance and minimal trade-offs between decentralization and efficiency.
Please share your stance on issues that were raised previously, in other communities, as described below:
Sample Voting Issue 1:
- A proposal to add USDC as an additional collateral available to the HAI DAO community has been brought before the DAO.
- This proposal has passed the temperature check “informal proposal” stage and has been submitted onchain for a DAO vote.
- This collateral and all collaterals to be added to the HAI protocol must satisfy certain requirements of decentralization and meet certain thresholds of censorship-resistance as defined by the HAI DAO UNA Charter.
Sample Voting Issue 2:
Issue Overview: One of the largest lending platforms issues a stablecoin that is backed by its own governance token. The lending platform wants to run a large incentives campaign for HAI, and for HAI to list its stablecoin as collateral. Adding this stable as an additional collateral would provide an immediate and substantial liquidity boost to the protocol, but some members of the DAO have raised concerns over the sustainability and ethics of accepting the collateral.
Prompts to Answer [250-500 words]:
Sample Voting Issue 1:
We would vote against. We are going to oppose the use of centralized stablecoins as collateral. This is something on which governance must take a strong stance. Understanding the trade-off this entails for scalability, we are prepared to accept slower adoption as a deliberate choice, with the aim of fostering awareness about the importance of decentralization.
How would you approach the tradeoff between centralization of authority and the ability to get things done? There is not a general answer to this question. It depends on the type of decisions that should be made. In some cases it will make sense to rely on certain designated authority to take decisions on behalf of the DAO. There are interesting lectures about convex vs. concave situations/decisions (i.e. vitaliks).
Sample Voting Issue 2:
We would vote against. Experience has repeatedly demonstrated that backing the value of a commodity, such as a stablecoin, with another volatile token issued by the same party is unfeasible. A run in the price of the latter can jeopardize its backing, thereby compromising the security of HAI.

Disclosure of Conflict(s) of Interest:
SEEDLatam is a broad organization that not only encompasses communities in Latam, but also has high participation in some of the most prominent governances in the ecosystem such as Optimism, Arbitrum, Starknet, Connext, MakerDAO and Gnosis. We come to HAI DAO to bring value, in case there is any conflict of interest, we will communicate it to the community members.
