Description
BEP-619: Short Block Interval Phase Three: 0.45 Seconds will be activated after Fermi hard fork. The Fermi hard fork is a significant upgrade to BNB Chain, aimed at faster transaction confirmation to improve user experience. As described in BEP-619, after previous Maxwell hard fork, a multitude of system parameters are configured based on the assumption that the default block interval is 0.75 seconds. Consequently, when the block interval is altered, these parameters must be adjusted accordingly and update these governance parameters in a single vote would be more efficient.
