Allocate 4 ETH to promote Bigcap at the 2023 Blockdown Crypto Convention Currently the Bigcap DAO Treasury contains 19 ETH. We propose allocating 4 ETH of this to promote the Bigcap Project in person at Blockdown 2023 in Portugal. The official event runs from the 10th - 12th July and we would maintain a presence from the 9th - 13th July inclusive. Blockdown is one of the biggest Crypto Conventions in Europe with over 3000 attendees. We'd be aiming to raise awareness - bring onboard investors and possible partners as well as potential ladder traders. There won't be a stand but we will be able to give Bigcap a presence there. The two people who will be attending the event will be Greg and Gabbo - both well-known and long-term members of the Signata Community and related projects. Both Greg and Gabbo have worked extensively with Tim on a regular long-term basis with Greg acting as Marketing Manager there since the early days of Signata. Additionally they both have years of real life and internet marketing experience under their belts and extensive conference experience. As it is Greg and Gabbo are already offering this service for other projects and have been doing this for some time already:- 4 ETH is almost half the price they would normally charge to another project - this will include some merchandise. A previous marketing effort where 5 ETH was allocated by a marketing group made up of other community members included commissioning influencers but unfortunately had little lasting effect which is much more a reflection of the current state of the market than it is on the considerable effort made by those involved. This shows that there is not currently enough fresh blood in the crypto market to sustain all the new projects - and that marketing towards the same old people who are basically chart hopping and simply cycling through the different projects is not really effective. The big difference here is that this is actual face to face marketing. The opportunity is there to meet with a highly targeted audience of crypto enthusiast investors as well as countless key players in the crypto industry and many team members from different projects - explaining and spreading awareness of the Bigcap project to as many of them as we possibly can.
