Hey everyone, after thinking a lot about RnDAO tokens and Tally, we came to the conclusion that Tally doesn’t meet our needs with its current features.
The most important features we need right now are:
- A burning mechanism, so that when someone acts against the rules, the DAO can burn their tokens through a vote.
- Non-transferable tokens, to prevent people from selling and transferring them.
Because of this, we decided to migrate to Hypha, which provides these features plus others that make the process clearer and easier.
On the other hand, we also have contributors with special conditions:
- Chris B has decided to return his tokens to the DAO, so we will not mint his tokens in Hypha.
- Andrea chose to keep only 5% of her tokens, so that is the amount we will mint for her.
- Lino stole RnDAO funds and didn’t deliver on his commitments, so we will not mint tokens for him.
When the proposal passes, we will issue the new token in Hypha and mint it for everyone who currently has tokens. Please cast your vote below so we can move forward.
