Proposal

Summary

As part of the development competition [RIP00019], three projects will be awarded prizes (those with the most “For” votes).

This proposal concerns the project : PDF Report Generator for YAM, by LoganSulpizio

  • Summary: This project will deliver a web-based tool that lets users generate structured PDF reports of their YAM transactions. It will help users keep clear records and analyze their YAM activity over any chosen time period — ideal for portfolio tracking and financial reporting.
  • Features of the project:
    • Enter one or more wallet addresses and a time range via a simple web interface.
    • Filter transactions by type (buy/sell) and time period.
    • Generate a clean, structured, downloadable PDF report summarizing the user's YAM activity.
    • Accessible through a dedicated web page
  • More details here: https://forum.realtoken.community/d/57

Motivation

Elect three of the six projects presented, which will receive one of the competition's prizes, following development and validation by RealT.

Context

Development competition detailed in [RIP00019]

Implementation steps

  • January 22, 2025: Competition proposal on the Forum, followed by discussion on the development of the corresponding proposal,
  • March 23 to 30: Vote on the competition procedure and budget: [RIP00019] 93% approved
  • March 31 to April 20: Call for applications on the Forum: 13 suggestions, followed by numerous discussions,
  • April 26 to May 3: Each project wishing to continue must provide a summary of its suggestion,
  • May 5: 6 projects, in candidacy status on the forum, are presented for voting on Tally for the selection of the three winners.
  • May 13: The winners are known and the corresponding development can be initiated with full knowledge of the facts. Unsuccessful projects may still be developed, albeit without the competition's reward, but other budgets exist to reward contributions to the ecosystem.
  • During development, developers will be able to continue interacting with the community by applying on the Forum.
  • At the end of development, the code must be made available on the community GitHub. RealT will validate the code, and if everything is in order, RealT will transfer the reward to the developer.

Team

  • The Proposers: to structure and vote on this proposal.
  • RealT: to provide feedback before and after development, then transfer the rewards.
  • The DAO members: to contribute to preliminary discussions, vote on this proposal, and follow the progress of developments.

Budget

  • This proposal, to vote on the three winning projects, does not involve any expenditures from the DAO budget.
  • As a reminder, [RIP00019] provides for three bounties ($3,400, $2,600, and $2,000 in armmV3USDC or armmV3XDAI), distributed in descending order of "For" votes.

Roadmap

  • Given the milestones mentioned above, the new services should be available by summer 2025.
  • Subsequently, new versions may be proposed by the initial developer or by others.

Objectives

Allow the DAO member to choose the developments that seem most relevant and for which a developer will produce a result in a fairly short time (1 to 2 months).
