Booth design image for participation in the Taipei Toy Festival
Duckhead is attending Taipei Toy festival (extremely hard to get into), and is offering to brand his booth as Nouns and exhibit the recently completed resin prototypes alongside new Nounish Vinyl Toys he plans to develop with this proposal, ready in time for the festival in Taipei.

Note: Duckhead will be attending these events regardless and have the Nouns resin toys, this activation would enable the entire stand to be branded Nounish, lead with the Nouns toys, and continue development.

Additional Note: Prior to the Taipei Toy Festival, Duckhead will showcase resin toy samples at:
- Shanghai (May)
- Hong Kong ACG (a toy convention including large-scale game-related events) in late July.
Magnetic detachable glasses supplied alongside the toys

Cost: total 28,535 USDC

A small quantity of limited edition special versions will also be included. Due to the cultural characteristics of vinyl toys, Japanese products are considered to be of the highest quality. Hong Kong and Taiwan are the second largest markets.

- The soft vinyl toy production project is expected to take up to 6 months, with the goal of completing the entire project by Christmas 2026.
- This does not refer to the completion date of the products themselves, but rather to related projects utilizing the toys produced through this proposal.
- The completion time for the blank soft vinyl toys before coloring is 2–3 months.
- The blank toys before coloring account for 35% of the total quantity and will be used for marketing purposes to facilitate interaction with artists.
Toy Usage Rate and Profit Distribution:
- 33.3% of the profits will be used for marketing purposes to facilitate interaction with artists, in the form of blank toys before coloring.
- 80% of the generated profits will be paid to the collaborating artist.
- The artist will receive 20% back in the form of a custom-made toy.
- This special toy will be kept for future exhibitions.
-
33.3% of the profits paid to the DAO.
-
33.3% of the profits as compensation for Duckhead and put towards the next project to exhibit the custom toys created by the collaborating artists.
Expected Results: Who will attend? Toy buyers. Others?
On the surface, it could be an influx of toy buyers.
Attendees also aren’t random consumers, they’re buyers and collectors. People who understand assigning meaning, rarity, and identity to objects. Nouns fits that mindset natively and this is a real foot in the door.
The reason we focused more on characters than on glasses while creating vinyl toys is to create an image that appeals more to general toy buyers whilst still being obviously nounish to those in the know. They now also feature magnetic noggles as shown above and below.
There is a hidden goal, underneath all of this, of bringing new artists to Nouns. It is expected that these events will inspire new artists to breathe vitality into Noun o clock, and Nouns, via honest curiosity.
The resin toy sample packaging includes a QR code with an explanation of NOUN. More detailed descriptions have been added, and a simple yet impactful image of glasses has been added to the front. The head tag is designed using only the character's color scheme.

Proposal written alongside Duckhead. We believe that this would be a good area of further exploration and hope the DAO chooses to support Duckhead on these early stages of the journey.
