TL;DR

We want to host a Nouns activation around the Robinhood Chain community during Token2049 Singapore.

The event is planned for 150+ guests and will bring together Robinhood Chain builders and founders, Nouners, investors, ecosystem teams, and other people attending Token2049.

The main goal is to introduce a new group of builders to Nouns and show them what they can build with CC0 Nouns IP.

The event will include:

• Nounish photo booth
• Up to 150 Nouns-branded T-shirts
• Nouns artwork and branding throughout the venue
• Bigshot merchandise and activation items
• Curated VIP dinner
• Professional photography and video

We are also inviting Robinhood executives and Robinhood Chain representatives to attend. Their attendance is not confirmed.

Why Robinhood Chain?

The main opportunity is access to builders.

Robinhood Chain is attracting teams building financial products, trading infrastructure, consumer apps, and other onchain products.

Nouns gives these builders something useful: an established brand and visual identity that they can use without asking permission.

Because Nouns is CC0, builders can use the IP in:

• Products
• Interfaces
• Games
• Campaigns
• Physical goods
• Community projects
• Consumer experiences

Many builders outside the Nouns ecosystem still do not know how open the IP is.

This event gives us a chance to introduce Nouns directly to those builders, explain CC0, and connect interested people with the community.

The Event

The event will take place at The Spot, Marina One in Singapore.

The current plan is for 150+ guests, including:

• Robinhood Chain builders and founders
• Nouns community members
• Venture funds
• Private investors and LPs
• Traders
• Bankers
• Ecosystem projects
• Token2049 attendees

There will also be a smaller VIP dinner for selected founders, builders, investors, and ecosystem participants.

This gives us a quieter setting for introductions and longer conversations with people who may be relevant to Nouns.

The event is already listed as a Token2049 side event.

Nounish Activations

Nounish Photo Booth

We will create a Nouns photo booth using Noggles, Nouns artwork, and event-specific visuals.

The goal is to create something attendees naturally want to use, photograph, and share.

Nouns T-Shirts

We plan to produce up to 150 Nouns-branded T-shirts, subject to final production costs.

Bigshot Items

$2,000 of the requested budget will be used for Nouns-related merchandise and activation items from Bigshot.

The final mix will depend on availability, shipping, timing, and pricing.

Venue Branding

Nouns artwork and visual identity will be incorporated throughout the venue rather than being limited to a sponsor board.

The event should feel Nounish when people walk in.

What Nouns Gets

Access to Builders

Direct exposure to builders and founders working around Robinhood Chain.

The most valuable outcome would be people who become interested in using Nouns IP, joining the community, or building something Nounish themselves.

IRL Community

Nouners attending Token2049 get a place to meet each other and connect with people outside the existing community.

New Relationships

The guest mix gives us the opportunity to meet founders, investors, ecosystem teams, and other influential people attending Token2049.

Content

The event will be professionally photographed and filmed.

Photos and video will be shared back with the Nouns community after the event.

Reusable Assets

Where possible, creative assets produced for the event will also be made available for future Nouns activations.

This can include:

• Photo booth artwork
• T-shirt artwork
• Event graphics
• Selected photography and video
• Production notes

This means part of what the DAO funds can continue to be used after the event.

Can Partners Help Fund Future Nouns Activations?

This is a secondary part of the experiment.

Nouns regularly funds IRL activations around major conferences and events.

It is worth testing whether aligned ecosystems and sponsors may be willing to help cover more of those costs in the future.

That could include:

• Co-funding events
• Sponsoring merchandise
• Covering production costs
• Supporting community programming

The question is whether future partners can help fund Nouns proliferation instead of the DAO covering every activation itself.

Budget

The $18,000 event budget will contribute toward:

• Venue
• Food and drinks
• Production
• AV
• Staffing
• Photo booth
• Branding
• Photography
• Video
• General event operations

The exact allocation may change based on final vendor costs.

Nouns DAO's contribution is capped at $20,000.

Any costs above that amount will be covered outside the Nouns DAO treasury.

• Merchandise distributed
• Photos and video
