As of today BadgerDAO has announced the shut down of Ren 1.0 network on 12/20/22. This will mean renBTC is no longer bridgeable to the native Bitcoin network Source.

Given these circumstance this proposals aim is to remove the Convex renBTC+WBTC vault from the Uninsurance ecosystem. Once this proposal executes, deposits in the vault are still withdrawable but they will no longer contribute or be covered by the risk sharing system.
