To better reflect the evolving structure and role of DCDAO within the RingDAO ecosystem, this proposal suggests rebranding DCDAO to:

> **RingDAO Community Guild (RCG)**

This follows the discussion in [#222](https://github.com/orgs/dcdao/discussions/222), and aligns with the goal of making the community's function and identity more consistent and recognizable.

Once approved, we will request the **Community Manager Program** to support the following actions:

- ✅ Rename internal and public references from DCDAO → RCG

- 🖼️ Logo and visual identity update

- 🐦 Update Twitter handle/description and post an announcement

- 🌐 Reflect changes on the official website

- 🪙 **The current governance NFT token (DCDP) will remain unchanged for now**

### 🔁 2. Termination of DCDAO Steering Committee

The recent [Nomination Thread for 25–26 Steering Committee](https://github.com/orgs/dcdao/discussions/214) received **limited participation and low engagement**, indicating that the current structure may no longer be suitable.

We propose to:

> **Formally terminate the DCDAO Steering Committee**, and migrate its discussion topics to the more inclusive and open **RingDAO Round Table** meeting.

Ongoing coordination and community operations will be supported by the **Community Manager Program**, making the system more agile, transparent, and community-driven.
