Proposal

Applicant

Gomble is a game development studio with experience in Web3 gaming, interactive systems, and live game operations.

Gomble has prior experience in developing and operating game products and has been actively exploring Web3-native gameplay systems, including on-chain integrations and token-driven mechanics.

Summary

This proposal requests the allocation of 1,500,000 $AGLD from the Adventure Gold DAO Treasury to support Gomble’s expansion of game development efforts within the Adventure Layer ecosystem.

Abstract

Gomble aims to develop and launch multiple game titles aligned with the Adventure Layer vision, incorporating Web3-native mechanics such as Fully On-Chain Game (FOCG) elements, token-based systems, and composable gameplay.

With prior experience in both game development and Web3 integrations, Gomble is positioned to deliver production-ready titles that can contribute meaningfully to ecosystem growth.

This proposal seeks funding to allocate dedicated resources toward building, launching, and iterating on these products.

Background

AGIP-9 introduced DAO Treasury allocations intended to support ecosystem development and long-term growth.

The Adventure Layer ecosystem has reached a stage where infrastructure is increasingly mature, but continued growth depends on the availability of high-quality applications that can attract and retain users.

Gomble has experience in game development and Web3 systems, positioning the team to contribute production-ready applications to the ecosystem.

Motivation

From Gomble’s perspective:

  • There is increasing demand for high-quality Web3-native games

  • Adventure Layer provides an environment for experimentation and innovation

  • A dedicated team with prior experience can accelerate product delivery

Gomble aims to contribute by building games that increase user engagement, on-chain activity, and ecosystem visibility.

Specification

  • Total requested: 1,500,000 $AGLD

  • Scope of work:

    • Development of multiple game titles

    • Integration with Adventure Layer infrastructure

    • Iteration, balancing, and live operations

  • Fund usage:

    • Development team (engineering, design, product)

    • Production and tooling

    • Live operations and post-launch support

  • Fund distribution:

    • Milestone-based or monthly tranches

    • Managed via DAO-approved multi-signature wallet

    • Subject to progress and reporting

Accountability & Reporting

Gomble will provide:

  • Monthly development updates

  • Public roadmap and milestone visibility

  • Transparent progress tracking

Key KPIs include:

  • Number of games launched

  • Daily active users (DAU)

  • Retention and engagement metrics

  • On-chain activity generated

Future funding expectations may be adjusted based on performance and delivery.

Impact

This proposal is expected to:

  • Expand the number of high-quality games in the ecosystem

  • Increase user engagement and retention

  • Strengthen Adventure Layer’s position as a gaming-focused ecosystem

Risks

Allocating funds from the DAO Treasury involves limited risk, as these tokens were already allocated under AGIP-9 to support ecosystem development and growth initiatives.

Potential considerations include execution risks associated with game development, as well as broader market conditions that may impact user adoption. These risks are mitigated through milestone-based funding, continuous iteration, and transparency through regular updates to the DAO.

No additional technical risks are introduced, as this proposal does not involve changes to core smart contracts and will be executed through existing DAO-controlled multi-signature wallets.

Proposal

Gomble invites the AGLD DAO to review this proposal and provide feedback.

If approved, the team will proceed with allocating resources toward development and will provide ongoing updates to ensure transparency and alignment with the ecosystem.
